PROGRAMME OBJECTIVES: This programme has been developed at a time when worldwide nurse migration continues and the globalization of education in nursing is increasing.
It does not aim to impose a UK or indeed European model of nursing on the student but instead to encourage critical examination of the individual’s personal and professional knowledge, role and expectations. It will encourage the student to look at issues in bedside care delivery as well as at national and global nursing roles. Hence a programme graduate will be both a critical and reflective practitioner, able to influence and enhance nursing practice in a variety of healthcare contexts
Enable the student to develop a comprehensive understanding of nursing in order to critically examine diverse roles of nurses in an international context.
